Sunday Mba completes move to CA Bastia

Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Mba has completed the expected switch to French Ligue 2 side CA Bastia.

Mba left the camp of the homebased Eagles in order to complete the switch to Bastia,missing out on an opportunity to play at the African Nations Championship(CHAN).

Bastia on Thursday announced the deal via their official twitter page,with the contract believed to be a year and half.

Mba was one of the outstanding players that helped Nigeria win the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa,scoring the solitary goal in the finals against Burkina Faso.

But there arose a tussle between Rangers and Warri Wolves after the tournament over his ownership.

Mba will be hoping to make the cut in the Super Eagles squad to the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil.
