TRUTH: Attackers Wanted To KIDNAP Governor Kwankwaso’s Father

A gang of armed men, who Tuesday evening stormed a mosque where father of Kano State Governor, Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso, had gone to pray, had the intention to kidnap him, Daily Post can exclusively report today.

Although the senior citizen, who is also the district head of Kwankwaso Village escaped unhurt, three persons were not so lucky; they died of bullet wounds.
Speaking on the incident, an official of the State Security Service, SSS, who pleaded anonymity, told Daily Post journalists that the attackers attempted to forcefully seize the governor’s father for reasons yet unknown.
“It took the intervention of our ever-vigilant officers and the Police to repel the attack. The hostiles arrived the surroundings of the mosque and quickly opened fire. Their intention was to scare everyone around and whisk the elderly man away. We, however, stood our ground. Two of our men attached to Alhaji Saleh Kwankwaso were shot, but they are both in good condition.”
When asked if the assailants were members of the Boko Haram sect, “That I cannot independently confirm”, the source responded.
Police Public Relations Officer, Magago Musa Majia, an Assistant Superintendent, confirming the incident which also left over ten Muslim faithful injured, assured that investigation to unravel cause of the attack had commenced.
